Terms of Service
Last updated: July 26, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of CourtRatesPortal (courtratesportal.com, the "Site"), operated by CourtRatesPortal ("we," "us," "our"). By creating an account, listing a facility, or otherwise using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
1. What CourtRatesPortal does
CourtRatesPortal is a directory and availability-checking tool. We pull court schedules and pricing from third-party booking apps (such as Court Access, PicklePiper, and CourtHubApp) and display them in one place, so you can see what's open across multiple apps at once. When you're ready to book, we send you to the relevant third-party app's own booking page to complete it.
We also offer paid listing plans to facility owners who want their venue ranked, featured, or given its own booking page on the Site — see Section 3.
2. Accounts
Viewing live court availability and pricing requires a free player account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate information when signing up;
- Keep your login credentials confidential and notify us of any unauthorized use of your account;
- Be responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, including the acceptable-use rules in Section 6. Facility owner accounts, and the paid plans attached to them, are covered separately in Sections 3–5.
3. Facility owner plans
Facility owners may list their venue on one of the paid plans described at courtratesportal.com/pricing.html (Baseline, Rally, Championship, and the Center Court add-on). Pricing, features, and limits shown there are part of these Terms. In short:
- Each plan corresponds to a priority rank used to order search results. Higher rank shows first, but only among facilities that already match what a player is searching for — sport, location, date, and any active filters. Priority never causes a facility to appear in a search it doesn't otherwise match.
- Where two facilities share the same priority rank (including the single Center Court slot), the facility subscribed longest is shown first.
- Rally and Championship, and the Center Court add-on, are each capped at a fixed number of slots platform-wide (currently 10, 5, and 1 respectively, as published on the pricing page). When a tier is full, new sign-ups are placed on a waitlist and notified when a slot opens.
- A "facility" means one business at one physical location. Multiple sports offered at that same location and under the same booking system count as one facility, not one per sport — pricing and any court-based limits are based on total courts at that location, not sport count.
- Rally includes 10 courts per facility; Championship includes 20 courts per facility. Additional courts beyond those included are billed at ₱100/month each.
- Championship facilities may register a custom domain. One domain may host up to 2 facilities; additional facilities beyond that require a separate domain. There is no cap on the number of courts a facility may have — courts beyond the plan's included allotment are billed per Section 4, not limited outright.
- Center Court is available only as an add-on to an existing Championship facility, and only one such slot exists platform-wide at any time.
4. Billing, trials, and refunds
- Paid plans bill monthly, per facility (Rally and Championship), or as a flat monthly add-on (Center Court). Court overage charges (Section 3) are billed alongside the base plan fee.
- New facility owners are not charged for their first 30 days on any paid plan. You may cancel at any point before day 30 at no cost. This free trial period applies once per facility, to the first billing cycle only. If you don't cancel before day 30, standard billing begins from that point and continues each cycle thereafter.
- You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time; changes take effect on your next billing cycle, and your current priority rank is retained until then.
- Championship facilities have the option to purchase their site outright for 12 times their current monthly rate, discontinuing further monthly billing for that facility.
Flagged for review: the exact scope of a Championship buyout (for example, whether it includes transfer of the domain registration itself, ongoing hosting, or source files) is not yet defined and should be settled and reviewed by counsel before this option is offered to any facility.
5. Payments processing
CourtRatesPortal takes 0% of any booking payment made through a listed facility, on any plan.
Rally and Championship facilities both generate a payment QR automatically (GCash, bank transfer, QR Ph, or any other method PayMongo supports and the facility selects) — generating that QR is free and included in the plan. Fees described below apply only to a payment that actually completes, never to a QR that goes unpaid.
- On Championship, payment is processed through the facility owner's own PayMongo merchant account, registered under that owner's own business and tax details — not ours — and the confirmed payment is posted back to the facility's schedule automatically.
- On Rally, the payment QR is generated the same way, but confirmation is not automatic — the facility owner checks that payment was received and updates the booking themselves.
- CourtRatesPortal does not hold, route, or have custody of booking funds at any point, and is not a party to the payment transaction between a player and a facility.
- PayMongo's own processing fee is charged by PayMongo to the facility owner's account; the facility owner may choose to absorb this cost or pass it on to the player as a convenience fee at checkout. Any BIR withholding tax is a deduction on the payout to the facility owner's merchant account and applies regardless of that choice, based on PayMongo's published rates at the time of the transaction, not set or collected by CourtRatesPortal. Withholding tax applies automatically to covered transactions regardless of facility size, and is generally creditable via BIR Form 2307 — see PayMongo's own documentation for current details.
- The facility owner is solely responsible for their own PayMongo account compliance, tax obligations, and for resolving any payment dispute, chargeback, or refund request directly with the player and with PayMongo.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract data from the Site using automated tools without our written permission;
- Attempt to bypass the login requirement to access availability or pricing data;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the Site's normal operation;
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
7. Third-party booking links
CourtRatesPortal links out to third-party booking apps; it does not process bookings, payments, or store your payment details, except as described in Section 5 for facilities that have enabled PayMongo collection directly on their own account. Any booking you make happens entirely on that third party's platform (or the facility's own Championship site), under their own terms and policies. We are not a party to that transaction and aren't responsible for the third party's availability, pricing accuracy at the point of booking, cancellation policies, or customer service. See our Disclaimer for more on data accuracy.
8. Intellectual property
The CourtRatesPortal name, logo, and Site design are ours. Venue names, court names, and any trademarks belonging to the facilities or booking apps we reference remain the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify them accurately. A Championship facility's custom domain and site content remain subject to the ownership terms of that facility's specific agreement with us, including the buyout terms referenced in Section 4.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The Site is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Paid priority placement affects visibility only — it is not a guarantee of any particular number of views, clicks, or bookings for a facility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CourtRatesPortal is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including reliance on availability or pricing information that turns out to be outdated or inaccurate, or business outcomes tied to a facility's chosen plan. See our Disclaimer page for details.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
